At your hotel in Tbilisi
Starting from your hotel in Tbilisi, drive to Gori, on the Jvari Monastery (UNESCO), located on the top hill, overlooking to the confluence of two rivers – Mtkvari and Aragvi and Mtskheta town. Upon arrival to Gori short stop near the Stalin birth house and train carriage, on request – visit to Stalin museum (for additional fee, of ~ 4 EUR/pax, booked in advance). Drive to Uplistsikhe Cave Town, identified by archaeologists as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. Excursion. Lunch. Back drive to Tbilisi on the way – excursion in Mtskheta (UNESCO) – on of the oldest Georgian towns, former capital of Georgian Kingdom of Iberia. Back to Tbilisi. Drop off at your hotel.
