At your hotel in Tbilisi
Starting from your hotel, first stop at Jvari Monastery (UNESCO), located on the top hill, overlooking to the confluence of two rivers – Mtkvari and Aragvi and Mtskheta town. Continuing way to Kazbegi via so called Old Georgian War Road, stop to enjoy views at Zhinvali Water Dam and Ananuri Castle complex. Arrival to Kazbegi. Jeep drive to Gergeti Church – the highlight of Kazbegi (for additional fee ~ 7 EUR/pax, can be cancelled due to bad road and weather conditions).
Lunch at local tavern. Drive and small hike to Gveleti waterfall, if weather allows. In the evening back to Tbilisi.
Drop of at your hotel in Tbilisi.
