Our first stop at Jvari Monastery. It stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the historical town of Mtskheta. After, moving to Mtskheta – ancient capital of Georgia, visiting Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Samtavro Monastery. Lunch in the local Georgian tavern. After lunch, driving to Ananuri Castle Complex.
